It’s More Than Training: (basic commands are included)

This class is in line with my book. The intention is to ensure your primate has all their needs met. Around 90% of my clients; private homes and facilities, come to me due to reactivity, fighting with troop members, or even attacks. These clients report change in every case. Now, the point of this class is also to put into perspective that you are in control of their food, environment, enrichment, and more. When you have this status it is up to you to do the work. This class is designed to create responsibility for the owner and stability for the primate.

CLASS PART 1 REQUIRED PRIOR

Training Basics Meet Life Application:

Part 2 is our second level class. This is intended to take clients who are already utilizing my program from Part 1. When you already have the base line from Part 1 you can then use those skills and begin to utilize them into life application. This is where the more formal training comes in to increase the communication between human and animal. In most cases the keepers or owners have issues around communication. When communication lacks, the fight or flight response triggers more readily. This class will teach you and your primate how to utilize formal training to make days and routines more smooth, without reactivity.

Work and Fun in One:

This class is designed to create a job for your primate while also adding fun into the home. Many people miss the reality of how much these animals use their brains in the wild. Due to this factor, many primates get pent up due to a stagnant body and mind. This is for private classes as well as facility work. These aniamls need to have their brains worked and done so in more ways than just one. Toy enrichment can only get an animal so far, so a problem solving style “job” can be created to help these guys. We enjoy adding the fun tricks into this class to bring variety to the training. The idea of “Work and Fun in One”. I also enjoy teaching you how to allow your monkeys to not only accept new people, but how to engage well and interact safely with them. This class is full of logistics but also packed with fun!

A Personal Approach:

This option is absolutely more personal—a little less on the formal side—usually this style is more conversational. Allowing us to “diagnose” what is truly going on between you and your primate. It is offered in two forms: Zoom Meetings as well as us coming to you in person. However, these are only available on the months that are “open”. We do not have full access to one on one sessions via zoom or in person. We open monthly slots in advance with schedule availability and it is first come first serve. To access the available months to schedule please visit our social media platforms, or you can be added to our email list. We will only schedule in person training for individuals as we see fit for the benefit of the animal and the client. So please note signing up for this in a monthly slot is signing up for a Zoom Meeting. We will then from those sessions decide if being in your home is a better fit or if the zoom is sufficient for your needs.
