After my Part 1, three day training class:
“I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible primate training class. The experience was truly immense and far exceeded my expectations. The level of detail you provided was absolutely fantastic, and it was clear how well-prepared you were for every session. Jessica, your knowledge is nothing short of extraordinary, and the value I gained from each of the training sessions was immeasurable. I was especially touched by the personalized card and certificate. They were completely unexpected and the perfect cherry on top of an already phenomenal experience. As the only person to have taken the class without owning a monkey, I can confidently say this class is a must for everyone, whether or not they already have a primate companion. If anyone is on the fence—whether undecided about which species, unsure about which sex to choose, or just wanting more detailed information on diet, caging, training, behaviors, lab work, and more—this class will leave you feeling fully prepared for the responsibility of owning a monkey. It may even open your eyes to the care, attention, and training that such an undertaking truly requires. Having primate owners in the class was extremely beneficial as well. Hearing from various owners about their experiences, the behaviors they need help with, and seeing those behaviors on display in class was invaluable. And then watching you demonstrate how to stop those behaviors with positive training was incredible. Jessica, your own primates were a delight to meet and left me inspired for the future. The camaraderie in the class was amazing. I made friends with other attendees, and it was such a supportive environment, regardless of whether someone had a five-year-old monkey or a five-month-old one. All the monkeys were adorable! Thank you to my classmates for sharing your experiences so openly, and I look forward to reconnecting with everyone to see the progress at future sessions. If anyone reading this is considering taking the class, I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you again, Jessica, Patty, my fellow classmates, and your beautiful monkeys, for such a wonderful experience. I look forward to the next training! God bless you all."
This client struggled for a few years with bad attacks before working one on one with me.
"Some of you already know this, but a few months ago we had quite a rough patch with R***, our three-year-old cinnamon capuchin. And by ‘rough patch,’ I mean she was attacking us unprovoked (or what we thought at the time was unprovoked). I won't gross you out with pictures of the bites, but take my word for it when I say they were BAD. Soon after the attacks began, we got her canine teeth removed. Long story short, that did not help, and she continued biting us. Soon after that, we started working with Jessica Snow. I am sooo happy to say we have come so far since those bites. Jessica helped us not only to read and understand R***'s body language, but to respond appropriately.
“After the attacks, I honestly did not think we would ever be able to interact with R*** like this again. Jessica is such a blessing, not only to our family but to the primate community. People do not like to talk about these less than perfect parts of primate ownership that some of us encounter, but I think it is important for others to know that they are not alone and you can get past those rough patches with the right help and hard work. It is definitely an ongoing process and we are still working on gaining confidence and trust, but I wanted to share how far we have come since we started working with Jessica and hopefully help others who may be going through a similar situation."
"Your passion for educating and preparing people for the responsibility of nonhuman primate ownership is truly inspiring. Your dedication to improving the community and making life better for both the animals and their caretakers is admirable. I’m excited to see where you both take the program and the knowledge you’re sharing. It’s an honor to be a part of this journey with you!"
A client who reached out after having many attacks and feeling the need to isolate from family to keep them and herself safe. She was taking bad attacks while home alone.
In a last ditch effort, I contacted Jessica Snow. Fully knowing if this attempt failed I would have no further options but to rehome my capuchin. I can't say enough good things about Jessica Snow and the incredible work she did training my capuchin monkey. From start to finish, Jessica's expertise and dedication were clear. Her experience and knowledge are truly second to none—she knows exactly how to connect with animals and brings out the best in them.
What stood out the most, though, was her genuine care and attention to both her clients and the animals she works with. It’s rare to find someone so committed to ensuring not only the success of the training but also the well-being of the animals involved. Jessica has a natural ability to make the entire process enjoyable, and I felt confident every step of the way.
If you're looking for an animal trainer who goes above and beyond, look no further. Working with Jessica is a 5-star experience through and through. I’m beyond grateful for her work and would recommend her to anyone in need of a professional trainer!
